Val St. Lambert
In 1970's Sam Herman was invited, on several occasions, by the Belgian glass manufacturer Val St. Lambert to visit their factory to work on designs and create a body of his own work. With the utilisation of their skilled craftsmen he was able to explore producing larger blown pieces and also the quality of their glass and access to colours was exceptional compared to that available to the early studio glass artists.
